SNAP FITNESS – TEAM MOTO SPRINT 2011 SERIES RESULTS

SNAP FITNESS – TEAM MOTO SPRINT 2011 SERIES RESULTS

2011 has proved to be yet another great year for our Gympie Motorcycle Club. We are so proud of all the efforts each and every member has contributed. For a few of our members, coming in first place is not everything. Improving their riding skills and moving up just one place on the scoreboard since the year before is a major and satisfying achievement. For example Clubman Under 19’s Macka Dodt was absolutely thrilled he had moved up this year into the top three placing second on the series, first time ever and now with a trophy to prove it! We are excited to watch where he will place in the years to come. We would also like to congratulate those who came first in their races as such Rory Green, Jemma Wilson, Kye Crosswell, Ben Korn and Kacey Winston.

This year has been Kacey Winston and Guy Parkinson’s first year racing as a seniors and what a fantastic job they did placing 1st and 4th. Club treasurer Donna Jeremy said “the boys were offered to skip seniors and race as pro but Kacey and Guy wanted to try seniors first before they hit that next level”.

Special mention to PD Allan who after winning the first two rounds of his race and lead 6 of the 8 laps of the last round, crashed out and sank his bike into the creek. Despite this setback, PD managed to still place 4th. Others who placed in the top four not previously stated for their section are Jacob Campesi (3rd), Trumann Winston (2nd), Reece Brierley (4th) and Luke Allan (3rd).

Special thanks to those who also represented the club. They are David James, Bob Crawford, Tarryn Alexander, Brad Sallaway, Jacqui Beattie, Jack Reibelt, Tyson Gerrick, Codie Winston, Cohen Buckley, Darcy Korn, Jayden Treasure, Reagan Jeremy, Shaun Flazon, Jayden DeSerio, Kayden Groves, Matthew Flazon, Brady Hatchman, Lachlan Allan, Ashton Korn and Reece Gerrick.

We would like to congratulate all the club members for their determination and for representing the club so well.
